Maxell Pro AV operations statement amid COVID-19

Dear valued customers:

The COVID-19 pandemic is our utmost concern as we think of our employees, partners, and customers during this difficult time, we wish you all health and wellness.

Maxell Corporation of America, both HQ and San Diego are operating remotely and are functional, as is our warehouse. Necessary equipment and connectivity have been in place since Monday 3/16 when we sent staff to work at home. Current work at home period was extended today to 4/5, returning to the offices on Monday 4/6. Please note this is subject to change and is largely dependent on Local, State & Federal requirements.

Only limitation we have now is that effective 3/24, our Customer Service Support number (800-377-5887) will not be available to take phone calls, as the Governor of MI has suspended all non-essential work. To keep supporting customers, we will continue to manage our email queues and voicemail box during this temporary closure. Customers may continue emailing bsgprojector@maxell.com (general inquiries) and bsgmra@maxell.com (return requests) for assistance.

Our factories are running as usual, and currently there are no issues with carriers from our factories to the US.

Our third-party providers i.e. Warehouses, and Carriers are subject to Local, State & Federal requirements. As these requirements are changing daily, we will provide updates as we receive them. We have open communication with key critical providers and currently we are shipping and delivering goods as normal, but this could change should third-party providers have to change their internal policy or as mandated by Local, State, Federal regulations. There are potential concerns about Port of Entry delays caused by forced closure and labor shortages, however, while both issues are outside of our immediate control, we will provide updates as we receive them.

We will keep communicating with our customers and make every effort to provide our best service to all our customers during these exceptionally challenging times.
